Meet the owner and editor Summer. She is a brand photographer and content planner (among other creative things) who decided an online magazine was her true calling. She lives in Leucadia with her husband, two kids and two cats.
The LOCALS started in 2020 in San Francisco but long story short just relaunched in April 2026
It relaunched April 2026 officially with the intention of bringing community together, answering burning local questions and supporting businesses that support the community. It focuses on person of interest pieces, cultural and social questions, supports conservation, sustainable living and being overall very conscious but chill.
