Nestled next to train tracks and near the beach, is a house where artists and creators, inventors, gardeners and wave lovers live. The house of Makaiah and Andrea. They’re living proof we can be all of these things at once and be “cool”. As I snuck around their pad taking pictures of natural moments I felt this longing for my 20’s again. Freedom, exploration and endless development of who we are. Building over layers of fresh and new experiences that someday shape us into powerful guides, handcrafting the present and future.

They are jewelers. Plain and simple. Creating with what they find.

I met Andrea through her modeling, photographing her for numerous brands seeking her energy and charisma. But instantly gravitated towards her jewelry line that she makes with her equally beautiful partner Makaiah. She and Makaiah create pieces that, just like their lives, have no boudaries. You wear them whenever and with whatever the fuck you want.  We tried to convey that through my images Andrea and made together for this feature. Flowery dresses, hipster dresses, beach wear or completely naked. We want you to wear Dandy 47 on your own terms. I feel that’s how each of them naturally live. Imagine a world where each of us give attention to our instincts vs our insecurities. I wear my two Dandy 47 pieces almost daily.
